To activate the remote control, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the STANDBY button.
2. While holding the STANDBY button, press the MENU button.
3. Release both buttons.
4. The LEDs on the remote will blink 5 times to indicate that the activation sub menu is active.
5. The UP and DOWN LEDs will be illuminated.
6. Press the UP button to activate the remote or press the DOWN button to put it into Transport mode (Off).
7. After pressing the UP or DOWN button, the LEDs will blink 5 times to confirm the user input and exit the sub menu.
Note: If the remote control is in the "Transport" state, it needs to be activated before initial use. Refer to page 5 of the owner's manual for more information.
