To connect the IVC1L-5AM Analog I-O Module to the system, you will need to use the extension cable and extension port. The extension cable connects the IVC1L-5AM to the system, while the extension port connects the IVC1L-5AM to another extension module of the system. Please refer to Figure 1-3 in the user manual for a visual representation of the connection. Make sure to follow the wiring instructions provided in Figure 1-4, and pay attention to the six points to be observed during wiring, as mentioned in the manual. It is recommended to use shielded twisted pair for the analog input and output, separate them from power cables or any cables that may generate electromagnetic interference (EMI), and properly ground the module's PG terminal.
