To connect and power the Altronix Pace1PRD IP and Hi-PoE Over Extended Distance CAT5e Receiver, follow these steps:
1. Connect the receiver to the NetWay1D Single Port Hi-PoE Injector using a CAT5 or higher Ethernet cable. The receiver is powered by the injector.
2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port on the receiver. The port is auto-crossover, so no special cable is required.
3. Make sure the wire type used is a 4-pair CAT5 or higher cable.
4. The receiver can be placed up to 500m away from the injector, allowing for extended distance installations.
5. The receiver supports a throughput of up to 100Mbps of data.
6. The receiver has LED indicators to show the status. The green LED indicates that PoE (Power over Ethernet) is ON. The yellow and green LED by the RJ45 jack indicates the IP link status and whether it is operating at 10/100Base-T.
7. The Altronix Pace1PRD receiver is UL Listed in the U.S. and Canada and CE Approved.
