To activate the eldes EWC1AM Curtain Motion Detector, follow these steps:
1. Unscrew the single xxxx to open the plastic enclosure.
2. Check the position of the DIP switches: DIP1 and DIP3 must be ON, while DIP2 and DIP4 switches must be OFF.
3. Gently remove the hardware board using a screwdriver.
4. Insert and connect the battery.
5. Check and remember (write down) the ID number of the EWC1AM device.
6. Mount the device's plastic enclosure to the wall or another surface, following the recommendations from the original manufacturer's manual. Note: The package includes 2 different mounting bases. Before mounting the device, check the wireless signal first.
7. Put the hardware board back in its place.
8. Close the plastic enclosure.
9. xxxx in the plastic enclosure using the single xxxx .
10. Connect the device to the system via Eldes Utility software.

Please consult the original manufacturer's manual for more details on the default "Inhibition time" between alarms, which is up to 5 minutes.
