To connect external monitors to the MSI B11UH-497 Creator 17 Laptop, you can use the HDMI port or the Thunderbolt™ 4/USB-C Gen2 port. Here are the steps to connect external monitors:
1. HDMI Port:
a. Make sure your external monitor has an HDMI input.
b. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your laptop.
c. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI input on your external monitor.
d. Turn on your laptop and external monitor.
e. Press the Windows key + P on your keyboard to open the display settings.
f. Select the desired display mode (e.g., Duplicate, Extend, Second screen only) to configure how the external monitor is used.
2. Thunderbolt™ 4/USB-C Gen2 Port:
a. Make sure your external monitor supports Thunderbolt™ 4 or USB-C connectivity.
b. Connect one end of a Thunderbolt™ 4 or USB-C cable to the Thunderbolt™ 4/USB-C Gen2 port on your laptop.
c. Connect the other end of the cable to the Thunderbolt™ 4 or USB-C input on your external monitor.
d. Turn on your laptop and external monitor.
e. Press the Windows key + P on your keyboard to open the display settings.
f. Select the desired display mode (e.g., Duplicate, Extend, Second screen only) to configure how the external monitor is used.
