To clean the ceramic insert and glass lid, you have two options. Both the ceramic insert and the tempered glass lid are dishwasher safe, so you can place them in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. Make sure to position the ceramic insert in the dishwasher rack so that it will not hit other items during cleaning.
If you prefer to clean them by hand, wash the ceramic insert and glass lid in warm, soapy water. If food sticks to the ceramic insert, fill it with warm soapy water and allow it to soak before cleaning. You can use a paste of baking soda or a non-abrasive cleaner with a plastic scouring pad to remove stubborn stains. To remove water spots or mineral deposits, wipe the ceramic insert with distilled white vinegar, rinse well, and dry thoroughly.
For the base unit, wipe the interior and exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth or sponge. Avoid using abrasive cleansers or scouring pads, as they may damage the surfaces.
Remember to always unplug the Slow Cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
