To reverse the door swing on your FRIGIDAIRE FFET1222UV Top Freezer Apartment Size Refrigerator, follow these steps:
1. Before you begin, make sure to turn the refrigerator temperature control to "OFF" and remove any food from the door shelves.
2. Locate the door reversal kit that is packed inside the unit. This kit includes a top hinge cover, bottom hinge, and freezer door closer.
3. Place the refrigerator door on a padded surface to avoid damage.
4. Remove the top right hinge cover and the xxxx cover using a nut driver.
5. Remove the top hinge while securing the freezer door. Lift the freezer door off and place it on a soft pad to avoid damage.
6. Remove and refit the pin of the top hinge on the opposite side.
7. Remove the middle hinge and plastic washer while securing the refrigerator door. Lift the refrigerator door off and place it on a soft pad to avoid damage.
8. Swap the hole-plug and the hinge bushing located at the top of the refrigerator door from the left to the right side and vice versa.
9. Move the middle hinge cover from the left side to the right side.
10. Place the appliance to have access to the bottom of the refrigerator to perform the next steps.
11. Remove the right adjustable foot. Then remove the bottom hinge using a nut driver.
12. Unscrew the pin at the end of the bottom hinge, turn the hinge over, and xxxx the pin into the opposite end of the hinge.
13. Move the hinge cover and left adjustable foot from the left side to the right side.
14. Install the left bottom hinge using a nut driver. Install the right adjustable foot (from step 11) on the left side.
15. Set the refrigerator door on the lower hinge, then install the middle hinge and hinge cushion on the left side (from step 7).
16. Set the freezer door on the middle hinge pin. Locate and install the top hinge (reverse of step 6).
17. Install the top left hinge cover (from the accessory bag) to the left side. Install the xxxx cover (from step 4) to the right side.
Following these steps will allow you to successfully reverse the door swing on your FRIGIDAIRE FFET1222UV Top Freezer Apartment Size Refrigerator.
