To install the BROMIC 4500W Platinum Smart-Heat Electric Heater Series II, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the installation is carried out by a licensed and authorized technician in accordance with local electrical codes.
2. Determine the appropriate location for installation. For commercial and residential installations, the heater must be either wall mounted at a minimum of 1800mm (71") above the floor or ceiling mounted at a minimum of 2400mm (96") above the floor.
3. Do not place the heater directly below or in front of an electrical socket, as the heat radiated from the appliance may damage the outlet or plug if placed incorrectly.
4. Ensure that a minimum safety distance of 1000mm (39.4") is always left in front of the appliance.
5. If wall mounting, attach the supplied wall bracket securely to the desired location using appropriate fasteners. If ceiling mounting, use the supplied ceiling frame and follow the instructions provided in the manual.
6. Make sure to leave the appropriate clearance to combustible materials as specified in the manual. The stated clearance represents a surface temperature of 65°C (117°F) above room temperature.
7. Connect the power supply to the heater according to the wiring diagram provided in the manual. It is recommended to consult a qualified electrician for proper electrical installation.
8. Once the heater is securely mounted and the electrical connection is complete, ensure that any guard or protective device removed for servicing is replaced before operating the heater.
9. Before use, inspect the heater to ensure it is in proper working condition and that all safety devices are intact.
10. It is recommended to have the heater inspected and serviced by a qualified and licensed service person at least once a year.
