To connect your devices to the ROTEL RC-1590MKII Stereo Control Amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Turn off all components in your system, including loudspeakers, before making any connections.
2. For analog input and output connections, use RCA cables. Connect the output of your source component (such as a CD player or turntable) to the corresponding input on the amplifier. Connect the amplifier's output to your power amplifier or active speakers.
3. If you have balanced (XLR) source components, you can use XLR cables for improved audio quality. Connect the XLR outputs of your source component to the XLR inputs on the amplifier, and connect the XLR outputs of the amplifier to your power amplifier or active speakers.
4. The amplifier also features digital inputs for connecting devices such as a digital media player or a TV. Use coaxial or optical cables to connect the digital output of your source component to the corresponding input on the amplifier.
5. If you have a device that requires a 12V trigger signal to turn on/off, you can use the 12V trigger output on the amplifier. Connect the trigger input of your device to the 12V trigger output on the amplifier.
Remember to turn off all components in your system before changing any connections.
