To adjust the tracking of the sanding belt on the WEN HB6319 Handheld Belt Sander, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the sander and turn it upside down on a stable surface.
2. Pull out the belt tension lever to retract the front roller and loosen the belt's tension.
3. Slide the sanding belt off.
4. Mount a new sanding belt on the rollers, making sure that the arrow on the inside of the belt is pointing in the same direction as indicated on the tool.
5. Push the tension lever back to its original position, ensuring that it has fully closed.
6. Start the sander and observe how the sanding belt runs on the rollers. If it shifts towards the left or right, it will require tracking adjustment.
7. Use the tracking adjustment xxxx , located on the side of the sander, to adjust the angle of the front roller. Turn the xxxx clockwise or counterclockwise to align the sanding belt in the center of the roller.
8. Run the sander for a short period of time and adjust the tracking as needed until the sanding belt runs in the center of the roller.
