To install and set up the MDK-ARM software development toolchain with the STM32VLDiscovery board, please follow the steps below:

1. Install the MDK-ARM toolchain: Download and install the MDK-ARM toolchain (version 4.11 or later) from the ST Microelectronics website. The default installation location is C:\Keil.

2. Open uVision4: Open the uVision4 software by clicking on the uVision4 shortcut in the Start menu.
