To install the FEIT ELECTRIC TR2X4G2 4500 Lumens Color Selectable 2 x 4 LED Lay-In Troffer, follow these steps:
1. Before starting the installation, turn off the power supply at the fuse or circuit breaker box.
2. Remove the wire connection cover on the fixture using a Phillips screwdriver.
3. Remove the 1/2" knockout by using a flat screwdriver.
4. Install a 1/2" conduit connector (not provided) on the knockout hole.
5. Make sure the power is off from the circuit breaker or fuse. Feed the conduit and the building supply wires through the conduit connector.
6. If using a regular switch, use Wago connectors to connect the building wires to the wires coming from the fixture. Black to Line Voltage, White to Neutral, and Green to Ground. Ensure the wires are properly inserted into the Wago connectors.
7. If using a 0-10V dimmer (not compatible with standard dimmers), use Wago connectors to connect the building wires to the wires coming from the fixture. Black to Line Voltage, White to Neutral, Green to Ground, Purple wire from fixture to Purple wire from Dimmer switch, and Gray wire from fixture to Gray wire from dimmer switch. Ensure the wires are properly inserted into the Wago connectors.
8. Place all wiring back into the panel wiring compartment and re-install the wire connection cover.
9. Bend the hanging-hooks by 90º.
10. Place the panel into the ceiling and use the hanging-hooks to stabilize the panel on the T-Bar.
