To connect the gas cylinder to the Jocel JAT007445 Patio Heater, follow these steps:
1. Before connecting, ensure that there is no debris caught in the head of the LP tank, head of the regulator valve, or in the head of the burner and burner ports.
2. Connect the gas line to the tank by turning the xxxx clockwise until it stops. Make sure that the tube is not subject to twisting.
3. After connecting to the gas cylinder, perform a leak test. To do this, mix 1 part washing up liquid with 3 parts water to create a leak test solution. Spoon several drops of the solution onto the gas hose/regulator and regulator/LPG cylinder connection. Inspect the connections and look for bubbles. If no bubbles appear, the connection is safe. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Loosen and re-tighten the connection, then repeat the test. If bubbles form again, stop trying and contact your local dealer for assistance.
Note: In the event of gas leakage, the appliance must not be used. If the appliance is already alight, shut off the gas supply and investigate and rectify the issue before using it again.
Please refer to the instruction manual for additional safety precautions and detailed instructions on connecting and disconnecting the gas cylinder.
