To clean the grease filters of the NEFF D49ML54X1 Stainless Steel Telescopic Rangehood, follow these steps:
1. Pull out the filter pull-out fully.
2. Open the locks on the grease filters.
3. Remove the grease filters from the holders. Hold the grease filters horizontally to prevent grease from dripping.
4. There are two cleaning methods available: dishwasher cleaning and manual cleaning.
- Dishwasher cleaning:
a. Place the grease filters loosely into the dishwasher. Do not clean heavily soiled grease filters with utensils.
b. Use a suitable grease solvent for stubborn dirt if necessary.
c. Start the dishwasher with a temperature of no more than 70°C.
d. Allow the grease filters to drain before fitting them back into the rangehood.
- Manual cleaning:
a. Soak the grease filters in hot soapy water.
b. Use a brush to clean the grease filters.
c. Rinse the grease filters thoroughly.
d. Allow the grease filters to drain before fitting them back into the rangehood.
5. Fit the clean grease filters back into the rangehood by folding them upwards and engaging the locks. Make sure the locks engage properly.
