To install and set up the TROTEC BX11 Energy Monitor, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have read the safety warnings and instructions in the manual before starting.
2. Place the device in a dry and suitable location, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
3. Connect the device to a power source using the provided power cable.
4. Press the power button to turn on the device.
5. The device will display the current energy consumption in kilowatt-hours (kWh).
6. Use the arrow buttons to navigate through the menu options and settings.
7. To set the current electricity rate, go to the "Settings" menu and enter the rate per kWh.
8. You can also set the currency symbol and the display backlight duration in the settings menu.
9. The device can be used to measure the energy consumption of individual appliances by plugging them into the device's power socket.
10. To measure the energy consumption of an appliance, plug it into the device's power socket and press the "Start" button. The device will display the energy consumption of the appliance.
11. To reset the energy consumption measurement, press and hold the "Reset" button.
12. The device can also display the current voltage, current, and power factor of the connected appliance.
13. To switch off the device, press and hold the power button.
