To wire the SDC 515 SARGENT 9000 Series Monitoring Switch Kit for remote latch status monitoring, follow the wiring specification provided in the installation guide. The kit includes three wires: white (WHT) for common (COM), yellow (YEL) for normally open (N/O), and orange (ORG) for normally closed (N/C).
1. Connect the white wire (WHT) to the common terminal of your monitoring system or device.
2. Connect the yellow wire (YEL) to the normally open terminal of your monitoring system or device.
3. Connect the orange wire (ORG) to the normally closed terminal of your monitoring system or device.
Ensure that the connections are secure and properly insulated to prevent any electrical issues. Once the wiring is complete, the SDC 515 SARGENT 9000 Series Monitoring Switch Kit will provide an output signal for local or remote visual and audible annunciation indicating forced entry or unauthorized egress.
