To install the hoymiles HM-600 Single Phase Microinverter, follow these steps:
1. Attach the microinverter on the rail: Mark the center of each panel on the frame, fix the xxxx on the rail, hang the microinverter on the xxxx with the silver cover facing the panel, and tighten the xxxx .
2. Connect the AC cables of the microinverter: Plug the AC connector of the first microinverter into the connector of the second microinverter to form a continuous AC branch circuit. If the distance between two microinverters is more than the AC cable length, use an AC extension cable between them. Install the AC end cap on the open AC connector of the last microinverter in the AC branch circuit.
3. Create the AC end cable: Separate the AC port into three parts, insert the AC cable from Part 3 to Part 2, and complete the wiring for L, N, and Ground inside Part 1 AC port accordingly. Plug Part 2 into Part 1 and xxxx on Part 3 to complete the AC extension cable. Connect the AC end cable to the AC male connector of the first microinverter and the other side to the distribution box.
4. Create an installation map: Peel the removable serial number label from each microinverter and affix it to the respective location on the installation map.
5. Connect the PV modules: Mount the PV modules above the microinverter and connect the PV modules' DC cables to the DC input side of the microinverter.
6. Energize the system: Turn on the AC breaker of the branch circuit and the main AC breaker of the house. The system will start generating power after a waiting time of about two minutes.
7. Set up the monitoring system: Refer to the DTU User Manual or DTU Quick Installation Guide to install the DTU and set up your monitoring system.
