Installation of the WATER CREATION EMPIRE60 72 Wide Double Wash Stand requires professional installation by a two-person crew. It is recommended to assemble the fixture on a soft blanket to prevent any damage. It is also recommended to install wood blocking inside the wall for added support, although heavy-duty anchors can be used as an alternative.
Here are the steps for installation:
1. Assemble the back support by tightening the set screws on the escutcheons and 3-way joints.
2. Assemble the support legs, ensuring that the top escutcheons are straight. Tighten the set screws on the 3-way joints, 4-way joints, 5-way joint, and all escutcheons.
3. Attach the front bars to join the legs together and tighten the set screws.
4. Carefully position the washstand in the desired location with one person on each side. Use a pencil to mark the position of the wall escutcheon xxxx holes on the wall and the perimeter of the foot flanges on the floor.
5. xxxx the foot flanges into the floor using the provided floor screws.
6. Drill holes on the wall for the wall escutcheons and insert anchors flush with the wall.
7. Insert the support legs into the foot flanges and fasten the washstand to the wall with mounting screws.
8. Apply a thin coat of silicone on the top flanges to secure the countertop to the stand. If needed, use attached sponge pads on escutcheons for slight leveling adjustments.
For marble top installation, keep the marble top in its box until installation. Store the box vertically in a safe place, avoiding any impact or stacking of items on top of it.
When opening the box, ensure you have a professional two-person crew and the necessary tools and materials, including a flat, non-abrasive work surface, a carpenter's level, and sealant. Carefully rotate the box from vertical to flat without allowing any free fall.
To install the marble top on the washstand, apply sealant to secure it.
Additionally, the manual provides instructions for the installation of the stop valve and supply tube, as well as the P trap. These steps involve applying Teflon tape, connecting the necessary components, and checking for leaks.
