To set up your Verizon Fios TV One Advanced Whole Home Solution, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect your current internet and TV equipment, including routers, Wi-Fi extenders, set-top boxes, and digital adapters.
2. If you're setting up your Verizon router for the first time, make the following connections:
- Connect the coax cable from the coax port on your router to a coax outlet.
- Connect the Ethernet cable from your router's WAN port to an Ethernet outlet.
- Connect the power cord to your router and an electrical outlet.
- Wait for the router to update completely (the front light should be solid white).
3. Choose between a wired or Wi-Fi connection:
- For a wired connection, connect the Ethernet cable to any yellow LAN port on your router and the other end to your computer.
- For a Wi-Fi connection, find the Wi-Fi name and password on the label of your router. On your device, select your Wi-Fi name, and enter the password exactly as it appears on the router label.
4. Complete activation by opening a web browser on your computer and following the prompts. If you ordered an extender, set it up using the instructions in the box.
5. Connect your Fios TV One:
- Connect the coax cable from your Fios TV One to a coax outlet.
- Connect the HDMI cable from your Fios TV One to your TV.
- Connect the power cord from your Fios TV One to an electrical outlet.
6. Turn on your TV and Fios TV One. Follow the on-screen instructions using the Fios TV Voice Remote to complete activation and remote setup. If you experience issues with the remote, you may need to manually pair it by going to Menu > Settings > Voice Control > Fios Voice Remote > Program Voice Remote > Manual Setup.
7. If you have a Fios TV One Mini, make the necessary connections (coax cable, HDMI cable, power cord) and follow the same activation and remote setup process as for the Fios TV One.
8. If you ordered additional accessories, such as a Digital Adapter, follow the instructions included with the equipment for connections and activation.
9. After activation, you can use the voice feature on your Fios TV Voice Remote to control your TV. Hold the remote about 12" from your face, press the mic button, and speak commands like "Tune to CNN" or "Show me comedy movies."
