To change the batteries in the NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC 9118002 Microscope, follow these steps:
1. Remove the safety xxxx from the battery cover.
2. Slide out the coin battery holder.
3. Install a CR2032 coin battery with the positive (+) polarity facing down and the negative (-) polarity facing up on the holder.
4. Replace the battery cover.
5. xxxx in the safety xxxx back onto the cover.

Note: Before changing the batteries, make sure to disconnect the microscope from the power supply by removing the plug or existing batteries.
