To connect the ProXtend DP1.4-001 DisplayPort 1.4 cable between your computer and display, please follow these steps:
1. Identify the DisplayPort connectors on both your computer and display. The ProXtend DP1.4-001 cable has male connectors on both ends.
2. Ensure that your computer and display are powered off before making any connections.
3. Take one end of the ProXtend DP1.4-001 cable and insert the male DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort output port on your computer.
4. Take the other end of the cable and insert the male DisplayPort connector into the DisplayPort input port on your display.
5. Once the connectors are securely inserted, gently tighten the latching connectors on both ends to ensure a stable and reliable connection.
6. Power on your computer and display.
7. Your computer should automatically detect the display connected via the ProXtend DP1.4-001 cable. If not, you may need to adjust the display settings on your computer to recognize the external display.
