To clean and sanitize the Waring Commercial WCG75 Chopper Grinder, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning.
2. Wipe down the exterior surfaces of the motor base with soft cloths or sponges dampened with a washing solution. Use water no hotter than 115ºF.
3. Rinse the surfaces with water.
4. Sanitize the surfaces using a sanitizing solution.
5. Wring out all excess moisture from the cloths or sponges to prevent liquid from running into the motor base.
6. Allow the motor base to air-dry before using it again.
Note: Do not use water jet cleaning on the motor base, and do not immerse the base unit in water or any other liquid.
To clean and sanitize the work bowls, blades, and lid:
1. Remove the work bowl from the motor base.
2. If using a dishwasher, remove the lid and blade, and place the work bowls, blades, and lid on a flat dish rack. Run them through a wash cycle and let them air-dry.
3. If hand-washing, remove the lid and blade. In the first sink, add detergent and water according to the detergent package label. Scrub and flush out the work bowls, blades, and lid to dislodge and remove food residue. Rinse in the second sink, then sanitize in the third sink according to the instructions on the sanitizer label.
