To prepare the water supply for the WMF 1300 S Coffee Machine, you will need a 3/8 inch hose connector with a mains tap and a filter with a 0.08 mm mesh size. The water supply line should have a flow pressure of at least 0.2 MPa (2 bar) at a rate of 2 l/min (standard), with a maximum flow pressure of 0.6 MPa (6 bar). The inlet temperature should not exceed 35 °C. If you are using a water filter, you will need to consider the additional space required under the machine for the filter.
For the drainage, a minimum DN 19 tube with a minimum downward slope of 2 cm/m should be used. If the coffee machine is connected to a drain, a funnel siphon must be installed in the drain pipe. The free drain (funnel siphon with sheet metal angle) should be fitted vertically and below the drains of the coffee machine, but above the actual drain pipe connections (HT40, HT50, or similar) in terms of height. It is recommended to connect a maximum of two coffee machines to a funnel siphon with DN19 hose and black silicone fabric hose. The on-site preliminary works for the drainage connection should be carried out by authorized plumbers in compliance with the prevailing regulations.
