To cycle through the different modes on the LP831 flashlight, first turn the light on by pressing down the button on the tail cap completely and releasing it. Then, half-press the button to cycle through the modes (High/Low/Strobe). Alternatively, you can also quickly turn the flashlight on and off repeatedly to cycle through the three modes. It's important to note that the light will automatically reset to high mode if it has been off for longer than 5 seconds.
