To prepare the water supply for the WMF 9000 F Coffee Machine, you will need to arrange for on-site preparatory work for electricity, water, and drainage connections. This work should be carried out by authorized installation technicians in compliance with general, country-specific, and local regulations. The machine owner/operator is responsible for arranging this work.
For the water supply, you will need to have a 1/2 inch (TW12) hose connector with a main shutoff valve and a dirt filter with a 250 sq.m mesh size. The water supply line should have a flow pressure of at least 0.36 MPa (3.6 bar) at 6 l/min. The machine site should have a boiler feed line of 1/2 inch (TW12) and a rinsing line of 3/8 inch (TW8). The flow pressure for these lines should be at least 0.2 MPa (2 bar) at 6 l/min, with a maximum of 0.6 MPa (6 bar). The inlet temperature should not exceed 35 °C.
For the drainage, you have the option to install a water drain tube. The minimum requirements for the drain tube are a hose with a minimum diameter of DN 40 and a minimum downward slope of 2 cm/m. If the coffee machine is installed without a grounds separator, a 20 mm fall height is necessary. The fall height can be achieved using specific products from companies like Geberit.
It is important to note that the on-site installation work for the water supply and drainage connections should be carried out before the WMF service engineers connect the coffee machine to the existing prepared connection points. The WMF service is not responsible for carrying out any on-site installation work prior to connection.
