To install the Legrand On-Q CAT-5e RJ-45 Keystone Connector, follow these steps:
1. Start by preparing the wall plate or surface where you want to install the keystone connector.
2. Insert the keystone connector into the appropriate opening on the wall plate or surface. The Legrand On-Q CAT-5e Keystone Connector is designed to fit into a standard keystone opening.
3. Once the keystone connector is inserted, use a punchdown tool (such as the manufacturer's AC3400) to terminate the wires. The keystone connector has color-coded terminals for easy identification of the wire pairs.
4. Place the wire pairs into their respective terminals and use the punchdown tool to firmly press down on the wires, ensuring a secure connection.
5. After all the wires are terminated, trim off any excess wire using a wire cutter or stripper.
6. Once the keystone connector is properly terminated, snap the wall plate or surface cover back into place.
7. Test the connection using a network cable tester to ensure proper connectivity.
