Operating the SEM 636D Wheel Loader safely and effectively requires following certain guidelines and precautions. Here are some key points to keep in mind:
1. Before starting the machine, thoroughly check the area for any potential hazards or obstacles.
2. Always fasten the seat belt and ensure that all safety devices, such as control levers lockout device, are in place and functioning properly.
3. When starting the engine, sound the horn as an alert and start the machine only while seated in the operator's seat.
4. Before traveling, check that there is no one in the surrounding area and that there are no obstacles. Sound the horn as an alert before starting off.
5. When traveling, avoid sudden changes in speed, sharp turns, or zigzag movements. Travel at a safe speed and maintain a proper distance from other machines or structures.
6. When traveling on slopes, keep the bucket approximately 20-30cm (8-12in) above the ground. Travel with the bucket facing uphill and use the engine's braking force when traveling downhill.
