To update the firmware of the JUNIPER MD-001 Mnemonic Devices, follow these steps:
1. Download the firmware binary file from the official website of Mnemonic Devices (www.mnemonicdevices.io/juniper).
2. Format a micro SD card with FAT32 and use Master Boot Record (MBR) as the file system.
3. Rename the downloaded firmware binary file to "fw.bin" and copy it to the root directory of the micro SD card.
4. Insert the micro SD card into the JUNIPER MD-001 Mnemonic Devices.
5. Power on the device while holding the PHASE/CH7 button. This will activate the boot-loader of the device.
6. Release the PHASE/CH7 button and wait for the device to finish flashing the firmware. The device will automatically reboot once the firmware update is complete.
7. Verify the firmware update by checking the version number displayed on the boot-up screen.
Note: It is important to ensure that the micro SD card is properly formatted and the firmware binary file is named correctly. If you encounter any issues during the firmware update, refer to the "Maintenance" section of the user manual or contact support@mnemonicdevices.io for assistance.
