To connect the RIGOL DP800 series programmable linear DC power supply to your PC, you can use either the RS232 or LAN interface.
1. RS232 Connection:
a. Connect the instrument to your PC using an RS232 cable.
b. Locate the RS232 interface at the rear panel of the instrument and connect one end of the RS232 cable to it.
c. Connect the other end of the RS232 cable to the RS232 port on your PC.
d. Once connected, you can control the instrument remotely using the RS232 interface.
2. LAN Connection:
a. Connect the instrument to your PC or the local network of your PC using a network cable.
b. Locate the LAN interface at the rear panel of the instrument and connect one end of the network cable to it.
c. Connect the other end of the network cable to the LAN port on your PC or to the local network.
d. Once connected, you can control the instrument remotely using the LAN interface.
