To install the MANROSE FAN2040 Commercial Wall Fan or Fan Kit, please follow these steps:
1. Turn off the main electricity supply before starting the installation process.
2. Cut a hole in the wall or ceiling to accommodate the fan and duct. The maximum hole size should be equal to the diameter of the duct. If installing in the ceiling, ensure the hole is between the joists.
3. Flush-fit suitable ducting to the plaster.
4. Remove the cover from the fan by removing the two small xxxx caps on the front cover and then the two retaining Philips screws.
5. Hold the body of the fan against the wall or ceiling and mark the four xxxx holes and the cable entry. Make sure the fan is square on the wall or ceiling.
6. Bring the power cable into position as marked, allowing an extra 350mm to facilitate connection. The fan should only be installed by fixed wiring; a flexible cord should not be used.
7. If installing an external grille, remove the grille insert using a flat screwdriver. Drill four holes in the corners, mark the xxxx holes on the wall, and fix the external grille.
Please note that all electrical work must be carried out by a registered electrician in accordance with the latest wiring rules (AS/NZS3000).
