To connect the Cambridge Audio Edge W Power Amplifier to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the power amplifier is in Standby mode by pressing the STANDBY/ON button on the front panel. The LED indicator should be dim.
2. Connect your audio source (such as a CD player or preamplifier) to the amplifier using either the balanced or unbalanced inputs on the rear panel. Use high-quality interconnect cables for optimal performance.
3. Connect your speakers to the amplifier using the speaker terminals on the rear panel. Make sure to observe proper polarity by connecting the positive (+) terminal of the amplifier to the corresponding positive terminal of the speaker, and the negative (-) terminal to the corresponding negative terminal of the speaker.
4. If you have additional power amplifiers or audio equipment that you want to connect, you can use the LOOP OUT feature on the rear panel to pass the audio signal to another device.
5. Once all connections are made, ensure that the voltage selector switch on the rear panel is set to the appropriate voltage for your region. This switch should only be adjusted by Cambridge Audio service personnel.
6. Plug the AC power cord into a suitable power outlet and switch on the power. The amplifier will enter the On mode, indicated by a bright LED on the front panel.
7. Adjust the volume level on your audio source and enjoy your music through the Cambridge Audio Edge W Power Amplifier.
