To clean the oven interior of the IKEA MATÄLSKARE Forced Air Oven, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the oven is cool to the touch and disconnected from the power supply.
2. Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior surfaces of the oven. If necessary, add a few drops of washing up detergent to the water. Finish off with a dry cloth.
3. For the oven interior, do not use abrasive sponges or metallic scrapers or scourers, as they can damage the enamelled surfaces and the oven door glass.
4. After every use, allow the oven to cool and then clean it while it is still warm to remove built-up dirt and stains caused by food residues.
5. Use proper oven detergents and follow the manufacturer's instructions for cleaning the oven interior.
6. Clean the door glass with a suitable liquid detergent. The oven door can be removed to facilitate cleaning. Refer to the manual for instructions on how to remove and clean the door.
7. Soak the accessories, such as the wire shelf and baking tray, in water with washing up detergent immediately after use. Use oven gloves if the accessories are still hot. Food residues can be easily removed using a brush or sponge.
8. For maintenance tasks, such as removing and repositioning the shelf guides or replacing the lamp, make sure the oven is cold and disconnected from the power supply. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions on these tasks.
