To use the ML Quick Start device for programming a Mercedes ML-Class W163 key, please follow these steps:
1. Cut a new blade and turn the ignition on.
2. Connect the ML Quick Start device to the OBDII port in your car.
3. Press the start button on the device to access the main menu.
4. Choose the "Program Key" option and then select the "Remote+PCF" button on the next screen.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to program the new remote and transponder.
6. If you encounter a "Start Error" message on the dashboard, ensure that the ignition key has a transponder in it. If it does, proceed with the "Fix Start Error" procedure.
7. Within 5-6 seconds, if you see a "Successfully" message, the "Fix Start Error" procedure is complete, and you can start the car.
8. If something went wrong during the programming procedure and the PCF (Personal Comfort Function) is programmed, you can use the "Unlock PCF" option to unlock it. Note that the ignition must be on during this procedure.
9. Press the "Unlock PCF" button for 5-6 seconds, and if you see a "Successfully" message, the "Unlock PCF" procedure is complete.
Please note that the ML Quick Start device only works with special remotes purchased from MBE Engineering's online store. For further assistance or troubleshooting, refer to the user guide provided with the device.
