To connect the BLUSTREAM IP50HD-RX High Definition Video Over IP Receiver to your network, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have a 1Gb network switch available for matrix distribution mode. If you are using the one-to-one HDMI extender mode, a network switch is not required.
2. Connect one end of a CAT cable to the LAN RJ45 connector on the IP50HD-RX.
3. Connect the other end of the CAT cable to your network switch or directly to another IP50HD-TX transmitter unit.
4. If your network switch supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), the IP50HD-RX can be powered through the CAT cable. Otherwise, you will need to use the included local 12V 1A power supply.
5. Connect your HDMI display to the HDMI Type A output connector on the IP50HD-RX.
6. If you need to extend audio, connect your audio device to the 3-Pin Phoenix connector labeled "Audio Output."
7. If you need to control devices using RS-232, connect your RS-232 device to the 3-Pin Phoenix connector labeled "RS-232 Serial Port."
8. If you need to use USB or KVM functionality, connect your USB devices to the USB-Type A ports on the IP50HD-RX.
9. If you need to use infrared (IR) control, connect your IR devices to the 3.5mm stereo jack labeled "IR Input" and the 3.5mm mono jack labeled "IR Output."
