To measure DC voltage using the PeakTech 1080 Digital Pen Type Multimeter, follow these steps:
1. Connect the black test lead to the COM jack on the meter.
2. Set the function switch to the V range that you want to use.
3. Connect the test leads across the source or load under measurement.
4. Read the LCD display to see the voltage measurement. The polarity of the probe tip connection will be indicated for DC measurements.
Please note that the maximum permissible input rating for voltage measurements is 600V DC/ACrms. Do not exceed this rating to avoid the risk of serious injury or equipment damage. Always ensure that the meter is set to the appropriate range for the voltage being measured.
