1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the electricity is turned off at the circuit breaker box or main fuse box to prevent the risk of electric shock.
2. Carefully unpack the package and ensure that all the necessary mounting hardware is included.
3. Determine the location where you want to install the ceiling light. Ensure that the mounting surface is sturdy and can support the weight of the fixture.
4. Attach the mounting bracket to the electrical box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Make sure the bracket is securely fastened.
5. Connect the electrical wires from the ceiling to the wires of the fixture. Match the black (hot) wire from the ceiling to the black wire of the fixture, the white (neutral) wire to the white wire, and the green or copper (ground) wire to the green or copper wire. Use wire nuts to secure the connections.
6. Carefully lift the fixture and align the mounting holes on the fixture with the screws on the mounting bracket. Gently slide the fixture onto the bracket and tighten the screws to secure it in place.
7. Install the recommended bulbs into the sockets, following the markings and labels on the fixture. Ensure that the bulbs are securely screwed in.
8. Turn on the electricity at the circuit breaker box or main fuse box to test the installation. If the light does not turn on, double-check the wiring connections and bulb installation.
9. Once the installation is complete and the light is functioning properly, wipe the fixture clean using a soft, dry cloth or a static duster. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives as they may damage the finish.
