According to the user manual, the dilution and usage instructions for are as follows:
1. Pre-test surfaces: Always pre-test surfaces to be cleaned for colorfastness in an inconspicuous location before use.
2. Vacuum carpet: Thoroughly vacuum the carpet to remove loose dry soils.
3. Spot treatment: Treat spots directly with Axiom Clean Spotter.
4. Pre-treatment: Pre-treat soiled areas and visible traffic lanes with Axiom Clean Pre-Spray before extraction.
For Portable Use:
- Dilute Axiom Clean Free Rinse at 2 ounces per gallon of water (1:64) for normal soil conditions.
- For heavier soil, use 4 ounces per gallon of water.
For Truckmount Use:
- Mix 1 quart (32 ounces) of Axiom Clean Free Rinse per 5 gallons of water to make a truckmount concentrate for use in a chemical injection system.
- Meter at 2 to 4 gallons per hour, depending on soil conditions.
- Use up to 2 quarts (64 ounces) per 5 gallons for heavier soil conditions.
Additional Tips:
- Use dry extraction passes after cleaning to speed up drying.
- The pH of the product when ready to use is 4.8 - 5.2.
