To update the firmware on your BLAZE PowerZone Connect Series Amplifier, please follow these steps:
1. Download the Firmware Update File: Visit blaze-audio.com/support and download the latest firmware update file for your amplifier.
2. Connect to the Amplifier via Wi-Fi:
- Ensure that your PowerZone Connect amplifier is connected to a mains power supply and wait for the front panel Wi-Fi indicator to turn green.
- On your mobile, laptop, or desktop device, search for available Wi-Fi networks and connect to "Blaze XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" (replace XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX with the serial number of your amplifier) using the password "password." The amplifier's serial number can be found on its rear panel.
- Open a web browser on your device and enter the IP address: 192.168.4.1. This will open the PowerZone Control web app interface, which is your gateway for updating the amplifier's firmware.
3. Update the Firmware 1.3:
- You are now connected to the PowerZone Control web app. Go to Settings > Device and below Firmware update, press "UPDATE."
- Select the downloaded firmware update file.
- Wait for the installation to complete. The amplifier will automatically restart itself in approximately 2 minutes.
- Reconnect to the amplifier's Wi-Fi network.
- Confirm the successful update by refreshing the browser and checking the Firmware Version under Settings > Device.
4. Load a Speaker Preset from the Speaker Library:
- Download your desired Speaker Preset from blaze-audio.com/support.
- Connect to the amplifier and open the PowerZone Control web app.
- Go to Output > Speaker Presets and press "Import Speaker Preset."
- Select the .zcp Speaker Preset file that you just downloaded.
