To install the kvm-tec KT-6013L-F Masterflex KVM Extender over IP, follow these steps:
1. Connect the CON/Remote and the CPU/Local units to the included 12V 2A power supply.
2. Connect a USB cable from your PC to the CPU/Local unit.
3. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the CON/Remote unit.
4. Use a network cable to connect the CPU/Local and the CON/Remote units.
5. Connect a DVI cable from the PC to the DVI socket of the CPU/Local unit (PC-in).
6. Connect the monitor to the CON/Remote unit using a DVI cable.
7. Optionally, you can connect the PC audio/out to the local audio/in using an audio cable. You can also connect the audio/out to the microphone using another audio cable.
8. If using a switch, connect all endpoints to the switch. Ensure that all connections have a bandwidth of 1Gbit/sec. For video sharing, the network needs to support IGMP snooping.
Once the installation is complete, you can use the on-screen menu to access various settings and features. To access the main menu, make sure the extenders, monitors, and computer are turned on, and press the ALT+GR key on your keyboard quickly five times. From the main menu, you can navigate through sub-menus to access different options and settings.
