To change the capacity and blower settings on the GREE FLEXX36HP230V1AO Flexx Cold Climate Heat Pump, you will need to access the dip switches located on the main control board of the outdoor unit. Here are the steps:
1. Power off the unit before making any changes to the dip switch settings.
2. Locate the dip switches in the upper-right-hand corner of the main control board.
3. The capacity settings are determined by the dip switches. For the 36kBtu models, you can choose between 24kBtu or 36kBtu. For the 60kBtu models, you can choose between 48kBtu or 60kBtu. Make sure the outdoor and indoor capacities match.
4. The blower settings are also determined by the dip switches. There are eight static pressure settings for the blower. By default, the blower is set at Speed 4. Refer to the airflow ratings table in the manual to select the appropriate blower setting based on the static pressure and CFM requirements.
5. Once you have made the desired changes, power on the unit and ensure it is in good working order.
