To connect the Jabra Evolve2 85 USB-A MS Teams Stereo with Charging Stand to your computer, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your computer has a USB-A port available.
2. Connect the USB-A cable from the charging stand to the USB-A port on your computer.
3. Place the headset on the charging stand to ensure it is properly docked.
4. Install Jabra Direct, the software required for managing your Jabra device. Make sure you have the latest version installed.
5. Once Jabra Direct is installed, open the software.
6. On the left menu, click on "Settings."
7. In the "Softphone Integration" section, locate the "Preferred Softphone" option.
8. If you have multiple softphones installed on your computer, you can select your preferred softphone from the drop-down menu.
9. If your organization has centrally managed this setting, it will be indicated by a lock icon, and you may not be able to change it.
