To assemble the Gude 55209 GSB 20 Laser 500W Pillar Drill, please follow the steps below:
1. Start by unpacking all the delivered items and ensure that you have all the necessary components.
2. Place the base plate (440 x 300 mm) on a stable surface.
3. Insert the column (70 mm diameter) into the base plate and secure it using suitable screws. It is important to ensure that the machine is securely fastened to the floor to prevent tipping over.
4. Attach the bench (210 x 210 mm) to the top of the column using the provided screws.
5. Connect the power cable (2.0 m length) to the machine. Make sure to use a single-phase AC current supply with the specified mains voltage (230 V, 50 Hz) and a safety switch against stray current (RCD max. stray current of 30mA).
6. Familiarize yourself with the control elements and safety measures stated in the instruction manual.
