If you're not getting any audio out of the 166, check the GATE xxxx . Make sure the Threshold is turned off by turning it fully counterclockwise. If the Threshold is not off, the circuit will attenuate the signal by 40 dB, which will stop the audio from passing. Note that signals below the Gate threshold are gated, while signals above the compression threshold are compressed. If the opposite is happening, refer to the manual for further instructions.
