To attach the flash to your camera, follow these steps:
1. Rotate the locking plate counter-clockwise up to the highest point to prepare to attach the speedlite.
2. Slide the flash's mounting support into the hot shoe of the camera.
3. Tighten the locking plate by rotating it clockwise as the marked "LOCK" arrow points.
4. To detach the speedlite, rotate the locking plate counter-clockwise up to the highest point and then remove the speedlite from the hot shoe.
Note: Make sure both the speedlite and camera are turned off before attaching or detaching the flash. Do not forcibly pull the flash from the hot shoe while it is in the locked position.
