The TIMEGUARD ELU56 can be mounted in three different ways: wall, panel, or rail. For wall mounting, follow these steps:
1. Remove the transparent front cover from the unit.
2. Unscrew the fixing screws in the recessed holes in the face of the switch.
3. Pull the timeswitch from the base plate.
4. Secure the base plate to the wall or flat surface.
5. Connect the mains supply to the terminals according to the wiring diagram, ensuring a link is made between terminals 2 and 8 for voltage-free contacts.
6. Plug the time switch into the base plate.
7. Re-tighten the fixing screws attached to the face of the unit to the base plate.
8. Switch on the power from the supply line.
9. Set the programs and clock time.
For panel mounting, follow similar steps but use the panel mounting bracket provided with the . For rail mounting, use the quick fixing device Part No. 907-0-071.
