To install the FX Luminaire DESIGNER PLUS RH Recessed Wall and Step Light, follow these steps:
1. Determine the desired location for the fixture. It is designed for recessed installation in a vertical wall in the down lighting position only.
2. Ensure that you have a standardized single-gang junction box available for installation. The fixture is compatible with standardized single-gang junction boxes.
3. Connect the fixture to a remote transformer. The input voltage for the fixture is 10-15 V. A remote transformer is required, and it should be specified separately.
4. Mount the fixture using the provided mounting brackets and stainless steel setscrews and fasteners. The fixture has a die-cast aluminum body with stainless steel setscrews, mounting brackets, and fasteners.
5. Wire the fixture using 18 AWG (1 mm) wiring. The fixture comes with a 10' (3 m) length of 18 AWG (1 mm) wiring.
6. Ensure that the fixture is properly sealed. The socket contains MoistureBlock™ technology, preventing moisture from wicking up into sealed areas of the fixture.
7. Connect the fixture to a Luxor Controller if you want to utilize zoning and dimming capabilities. The fixture is compatible with Luxor technology.
