To connect the VMO16 Audio Installation Processor to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary cables for your audio connections. The VMO16 provides industry-standard Phoenix-type 3-pin 5.08mm pitch connectors on the rear panel for all analog connections.
2. Identify the inputs and outputs on the VMO16. It has a total of 16 discrete inputs and 16 analog outputs.
3. Connect your audio sources to the appropriate inputs on the VMO16 using balanced audio cables. Make sure to match the left and right channels correctly.
4. Connect the outputs of the VMO16 to your amplifiers or speakers using balanced audio cables. Again, ensure that the left and right channels are connected correctly.
5. Power on the VMO16 and your audio system.
6. Use the D-Net control software provided by NST Audio to configure and control the VMO16. This software can be installed on a PC, Mac, or iPad and allows complete control over ethernet and Wi-Fi.
7. If desired, you can also use the VR1 PoE remote control panel for user control. This panel is compatible with the VMO16 and provides a simple and flexible way to control the processor.
