To select the appropriate charging mode for your battery using the BORMANN BBC4010 Car Battery Charger, follow these steps:
1. Make sure the charger is powered on and in standby mode.
2. Press the "FUNCTION" button on the charger to cycle through the available modes.
3. The charger has 10 modes: Standby, 12V STD, 12V COLD/AGM, 12V LITHIUM (LIFEPO4), 12V CAL, 6V STD, 6V COLD/AGM, 6V CAL, REPAIR, and 12V ALTERNATOR CHECK.
4. Refer to the charging modes table in the instruction manual to determine the appropriate mode for your battery size and type.
5. Once you have identified the correct mode, press the "FUNCTION" button again to select it.
6. The charger will now begin charging your battery in the selected mode.
