To install the KUFATEC Komplettset active Sound inc Sound Booster in your BMW 3er F31, follow these steps:

1. Start by removing the trim panels in the passenger's side, passenger's side rear, and trunk. This will give you access to the necessary components.

2. Connect the CAN High and Low wires from the cable set to the corresponding pins on the control unit at the passenger's side a-pillar. If the cable set consists of grey wires, connect them according to the cable inscription.

3. Connect the ground cable to the marked ground spot under the carpet.

4. Connect the control unit and the module to the cable set and place them under the carpet at the marked positions.

5. Install the pushbutton by drilling a hole at the marked position and securing it in place.

6. Route the connecting cable of the sound generator and the ignition lead along the front sill trim, b-pillar, and c-pillar to the trunk.

7. Guide the connecting cable for the sound generator through the trim panel and route it to the driver's side in the trunk.

8. Use a pull-through aid to guide the connecting cable for the sound generator through the marked grommet to the underbody.

9. Route the ignition lead wire behind the trim panel and connect it to the appropriate fuse spot in the fuse box in the trunk.

10. Remove the trim panel under the underbody and install the sound generator using the provided screws.
