To install the Streetwize SWWL13 Buried Folding Parking Post in soft ground, follow these steps:
1. Dig a hole in the ground where you want to install the parking post. Ensure the hole is wide enough for the post and deep enough for the spigot base (approximately 200mm). Make sure the locking base is between 2 to 5mm above ground.
2. Lay a foundation of around 20mm using stones.
3. Set the spigot base into the foundation.
4. Use a spirit level to check for vertical alignment.
5. Pour more stones into the base until it is 40mm below the surface. Recheck the vertical alignment.
6. Prepare fast-drying concrete.
7. Pour the concrete up to 5mm below the locking base.
8. Use a steel trowel and some of the remaining unused concrete for finishing.
